Many of our courses can be adapted for in-house delivery and can be specifically tailored to meet individual needs.

Description:

A course for those in contact with Gypsy and Traveller groups and for anyone whose work impacts on Gypsies and Travellers to explore the sociological and political issues related to the provision of sites and unauthorised encampments.  The course is of particular benefit to Councillors, planners, social inclusion officers, education and health workers, police community officers, housing officers and others with an interest in this area of work.

The course is linked to a Pearson qualification for those who want to undertake the assignments (click on the link opposite for more details.)

Aim:

The course provides opportunities for you to network with a range of people with extensive experience.  There is a Gypsy & Traveller panel who will talk to you about their experiences of living and expert speakers.
